The Emission-free Lightweight Tank Beer Truck for inner city transport

In order to respond to the increasing restricted innercity areas regarding to weight and/or CO2, Duotank has developed a completely zero emission tank beer transport solution. As standard, the LGT is equipped with an electric lightweight truck from Iveco. It has a range of approximately 250 km.

7.5-ton

Quick Change Tank

The 30 hl transport tank carried by the vehicle can be easily swapped. the special designed frame is equipped with a quick-release system.

MID Certified

Strandard, the LGT is equiped with a MID‑certified flow meter that accurately measures the delivered volume. This ensures that the system complies with all regulations.

Compact Design

The truck has a compact design, allowing it to operate efficiently even in narrow inner‑city streets. The hose can be unrolled from both sides, ensuring a safe working area at all times.

Quality Traceability

The delivery system is equipped with Duotank software, enabling full monitoring of the beer from the brewery to the customer during transport, filling, and delivery.

Stand Alone

Thanks to the optional solar panels, the LGT can operate completely independently. No external power supply is required to deliver beer to the end user.

Tank beer city hub outside urban area

The city hub acts as a mobile base for urban tank‑beer distribution, allowing sales locations in emission or weight‑restricted areas to be supplied. Equipped with interchangeable bulk tanks and a mobile CIP unit, it eliminates the need for the LGT to return to the brewery for filling or cleaning.

FAQ

Need clarification?

Which vehicles are suitable for building an LGT?

At the moment, the LGT body is custom-built for the Iveco Daily and the Fuso eCanter.

Is the LGT concept also available with a higher beer volume?

Yes, we also offer this concept with capacities of 40 and 50 hl. However, this requires a different vehicle, and the weight exceeds 7.5 tonnes.

What does the solar panel on the roof of the LGT do?

The solar panel supplies power to the delivery system when delivering to the customer. It does not provide additional power to the vehicle itself while driving.

Is a diesel version of the Iveco or Fuso also an option?

The concept is based on an electric vehicle, but the diesel versions of these two types are also an option in terms of dimensions for building an LGT.
